RaineTown Depot - HO
RaineTown Depot is a small, simple, back-woods station that will be at home on any layout. The inspiration for this model comes from a scratch-built structure on Dan George’s Greenbrier & Pocahontas Central Model Railroad. Images of Dan’s layout are available in the gallery section of the KingMill web site:

On further investigation it was discovered that Dan’s model is based on the Forks Creek Station of the Clear Creek Railroad in Colorado. The original plans for that station were published in the Jan./ Feb. 1980 issue of the Narrow Gauge and Short Line Gazette, “Up Clear Creek: Forks Creek Station & Eating House” RaineTown Depot is drawn from Dan’s scratch-built model rather than the Gazette drawings.
